To the Oxygen Thief

So many things left unsaid. How I wanted us to be but was too afraid to say.

How hurt I was for you to not choose me. How you broke me but I was so willing to forgive you. Again.

But I felt what was there. Could you have possibly fooled me?

Did you do it because you were bored? I thought the oxygen thief was a fictional character.

Apparently not.
