Oxymoron
Mentally I'm broken,
like whiplashed shards of glass,
protecting me from the past,
present, and future,
shattered in this apocalyptic paradise, heavenly Earth stained,
its soft gentle grass tainted with my blood.
Physically, I'm weakening,
loosing proud strength,
my muscles malfunctioning
loosing control at battle,
my heart has taken vacation,
I fear I've lost to much blood,
I'm misunderstood.
This Civil war of life I fight,
the endless cycle of pain,
strains my sanity whole.
Verbally, no one hears me speak,
call it outspoken,
I guess I was chosen
right to be,
voice hoarse with seclusion,
my conscious
is deluded but who is there to ask for help.
My imperfection is perfect,
my mind broken,
my strength unbolted,
my voice stolen,
my sanity on peak golden,
cloud nine
I wish I was there.
And emotionally.....
I've gone insane.
