oxymoron two

Ephesians 4:17

Live in Holiness

17 So I say this, and insist in the Lord, that you no longer live as the Gentiles do,

in the futility of their thinking.

 oxymoron two

A train ride to nowhere without a return ticket

Sitting by the window surely in deep sleep

Dreaming about the view that is showing through the thicket

That my mind represents with little left to keep

Soaking up the sunlight while sitting in the shadow

The glare of imagination blinding every thought

Why travel at all where there’s nothing left to plow

And without implements my emptiness is caught

Exposed to the world … who cares at all?

Am I just a puppet with some broken strings?

In the hand of a clown who seems to have a ball

To see me hanging helplessly up to the final ring
