Oz

Oz

Magic and color everywhere you

Go,

Even though you’re a long way from home

It still feels like home

Where you belong, not where you’re

Forced to be

Where you can be yourself, and not

Hide your personality.

That’s Oz for you, wish it was

A reality and not just my

Fantasy.

I wish their was a yellow brick road

To lead me to the Emerald City

Where I can meet the Wonderful  Wizard of

Oz who can

Change my everything

Oz is a magical place I hope to

One day see

And if I don’t, I still have my

Wonderland where being bonkers

Is nothing new to me.

Having tea with the mad hatter,

Painting the white

roses red....

Curiouser and curiouser

In this world...

We prefer to be mad

Instead.

But everything isn’t what

They seem.

For Time is forever still

And it’s the same day forever

Till.

I guess it’s back up

The rabbit hole for me.

And riding in a tornado far from

Whence I came and ending up in

A place where ruby slippers

Is the key back home

Thank God I’m wearing Converse

So now I can’t go back

If only it was true and simple

Like that

I wish there was an Oz though

Where I can run and be free

And never come or look back

To my reality and be

Like Dorthy

For Oz is my Safe haven in my

Wildest dreams

Where I know that my

heart, brain, and bravery

Will help me along the way

Magic and color everywhere I

Roam

Even though I’m a long way from

Home,

It finally feels like home.
