I run at my own pace

Boys

Virgin Lips and Untouched Hips

Not even ready for first base

Flirt with me and that is enough

I run at my own pace

Friends

Slumber party at my house

I can’t make it, I have church

Well, you’ll miss out

I run at my own pace

Party

Sip this Smoke that, NO THANK YOU

I will not grind on him

I will dance on my own

I run at my own pace

Grades

4.0 more like 4.no

But do not count me out

My intellectual worth is more than you know

I run at my own pace

Drive

Licensed later than the lot

Sixteen and still in the passenger seat

I will get behind the wheel when I’m ready

I run at my own pace

Lacrosse

You don’t work hard enough

You don’t put in enough time

I proved you wrong; I’m going D1

I run at my own pace

Pursuing my passions at my own pace

Making things happen at my own pace

Running my race AT MY OWN
