What poetry is to me, is what water is to a plant. LIFE It is my freedom It is my escape Its the single thing in my life that keeps me from going insane Its what I use for my mouth, when my lips shake. Or how I let out my anger my knees quiver and threaten to break. Its my planet My own population of 01 Where no one can tell me I'm wrong And where no one can tell me I'm not good enough What poetry is to me, is what water is to a plant LIFE
