Escape the real,

Express yourself,

Without an out,

Left on the shelf,

Writing means,

More than words,

Reinvention,

Another world,

A solemn vow,

Never quit,

Your only life,

This is it,

Poetry,

This escape,

A better world,

Yours to shape,

Down and out,

You decide,
