Package Deal

I am a package deal.

No don’t freak out or worry

I don’t have kids

But my package is just as needy

My package is just as demanding

My package needs just as much care.

My package makes people just as concerned.

My package follows me everywhere I go.

My package Shadows everything I do.

But adds a little tremor to my hand sometimes

Adds teeth marks to my bottom lip

A twitch to my foot

A jitter in my leg.

See you don’t just get me with me you get all of this with me.

You get my anxiety with me.

I try to tell it to go away

It tells me you won’t love me while it’s here

But it loves me to much to let me go.

I try to pull at its slim fingers that grip my life

But it’s holding me to tight.

I can’t break free.

I’m a package deal.

Is your bed big enough for three?
