As a poet
I write for my own sanity
As a person
I write for personality
As a student
I write so ‘rents aren't mad at me
As a soul
I write for my prosperity
I write for my own class and me
I write so that I can see
I write to throw the pain away and it can laugh and good try baby
I write so that the past cannot come back to me
I write in rhymes so my mental issues can relax and be
I write in bursts so that my feeling can confide in me
I write in lines so that I can craft my own identity
I live my life so that I can graduate
I live my life so that I can make a row of A’s on a paper
I live my life so that people can tell me what to do
I live my life so that I can share it with you
I live my life so I can love on my tangerine
I live my life to avoid my problems and feel the sting
I live my life so that I can softly speak instead of scream
I live my life so that deep inside I drop my dreams
I live my life for conformation to society
I live my life so I can be tied down to my ways
I die crying
I live my life to complete my goals that I didn’t set
I live my life to drink for pain yet feel regret
I sleep at night to rest my eyes
I sleep at night and put on music so I don't hear my cries
I sleep at night for necessity and not from will
I sleep at night because if I stayed up I'd kill
I sleep at night to wash away the pain and sorrow
I sleep at night praying I don't wake up and see tomorrow
I sleep at night to only wake up and see the light
That slowly fades away whenever I pull out the knife
I lie on the ground because I don't have a way to go
I do not scream so that it can be nice and slow
I do not cry because I have waited for this
I do not frown because of the wonderful free remaining bliss
I cannot stop because my actions have already seen their course
I cannot breath because my stomach is gone and spilled on the floor
I cannot move because the rest of my body is filled with scars
I will not move because I know that I will feel subpar
I only write to release myself from death and dangers
I only write to not join the cutters or join the hangers
I only write to release my passion
Release my rage
I write to kill myself while I bleed on the page
