Supportive, dependable, yet completely silent.

Tells stories of complete fiction and the happiest of memories

In a language only comprehensible to me.

There for me when I need to cry

Even if my tears may stain its fragile skin.

Knows me better than anyone

And is the best at keeping secrets.

There's a difference between being alone

And being lonely,

But when all I need is my little notebook,

Neither seem so bad after all.
