Pages of Places to Go

The pages in covers have adventures to follow

Fantasy, horror, or mystery like Agatha Christie’s The Hollow

I’m sleuthing in the brick streets of wet United Kingdom

I love most books.  Whether old, popular or a classic

My favorites influenced by my dream of possessing magic

I’m practicing magic in abandoned caverns underground

The hero and their crew battle the villain and their clan

So goes authors’ simple plot to ruin the antagonist's  evil plan

I happily joined a quest with the crew, venturing into new land

The series of books of an established and familiar story

They complete, they reamp, and go big to add to the glory

I’m engaged with new lands of fun, mystery, and agony

Information to feed intelect? Browse the non-fiction

Need a break from the troubles of real-life? Escape to fiction

I’m  dumbfounded by history’s mistakes and by future dystopias

The crispness in the pages, the text with quality meaning,

The synopsis begs me to go on. Better than screening

Imagery rattles my senses. The chills and hit me like reading lamps

The colors intensity and mellowness display various themes

So noisey and calm. Hear  yelps, whispers, laughs, and screams

My fears has me fleeing from hidden beasts in the dark forest

Opening portals to worlds generated from authors’ imaginations

Walking through aisles, browsing the titles, for finest creations

Living the adventures and enduring the experience. Where shall I go?
