Pain?

What is pain?

When you trip and cut yourself is that pain?

When someone breaks your heart; is that not the same

They say without it there is nothing to gain

Yet nobody wants it

Does that mean is an opportunity?

Is pain an experience that must be endeavoured to achieve an outcome?

Or is it a punishment to teach a lesson?

Pain is relative

Doesn't matter how strong or resistant you are

It still affects in the end

From a baby to a full grown adult

From a tiny mouse to a mighty lion

All relative - pain

Does that mean that it’s a force?

Can one wield its power?

Is there a limit to its affect?

Or is it just a state of mind?

Is it all in your head?

Can it be overcome or prevented?

Is it visible; can you physically see pain?

Or is it only felt or experienced?

Can the level of pain you experience determine ones future?
