Pain

Somehow this unwanted friend makes it back to me

Its like he wants to ruin my fun

He's like a cold can't defeat

He says welcome back my sweet

Eventhough I try to run

Somehow this unwanted friend makes it back to me

He can be very sneaky

He sees my defenses coming undone

He's like a cold I can't defeat

Sometimes he smothers me

Sometimes he blocks my sun

Somehow this unwanted friend makes it back to me

But through consistency

The war has begun

He's like  cold I can't defeat

Soon he sets me free

Then all is well and the war is done [but]

Somehow this unwanted friend makes it back to me

He's like a cold I can't defeat
