THE PAIN

The thoughts of yesterday keeps sounding,

ringing so loud in the stomach of my heart.

And how could those moments be rounding,

only to discover i am close to death

Nature has so much to offer, but;

it seems i am lost in the day like a bat

especially when i remember the pain

In the heart's garden - grows the fruits

of lasting memories which ripe with tears

stemming from the strings of its roots

behold! the anguish advance in years

Recollecting the joys of days and past

see nothing but characters and cast

especially when i remember the pain

Efforts in times gone, count nothing

As though the smiles and laughters never existed

Oh yes! in my shell i keep panting

since the plans to save the day seems roasted

Fighting, the exercise of words - i hear

Be gone, my spirit sings so dear

especially when the pain is gone
