Pain

Every time I close my eyes I see your face

and this may be a surprise but you still make my heart race

In my dreams I chase your heart, my prize

but I cannot keep up the pace, my hope slowly dies

I watch your heart, away it flies

The volume and my frustration rise

My pain is drowned out by the bass

Oh how I wish I had saved an ace

to make you realize how much I miss you

Now I place my heart in your hands, please don't abandon me

But just like that she walks away

what else is there that I can say?

For the slightest possibility she may reply

"I love you." But she wont, it was all a lie

In ignorance or apathy she ignores my pain

I take out my frustration on a vein

I feel the emptiness of losing you again

with great sadness I realize

I would rather die...

Than live without your love
