Pain

Why does it hurt

Why do I cry

Why must he make me

Feel like I am dying inside

Why does he turn his head

When I am standing right there

Why does he insult me

Like he doesn’t even care

Why does he want someone new

What does she have that I don’t have too

Is it because I’m too fat

Am I not good enough

Is my hair not the right shade for you

My face not just right

What do you want

What can I give

I have nothing more

You took all of it

So why do you hurt

Why do you lie

Why do you make me cry

LCaldwell

I am a writer, blogger and poet. I enjoy writing and do so when the mood strikes me. I have been known to stop what I am doing to jot down a poem. There are days when the words flow from my mind like water. I am also a parent to 3 amazing young men. I am married to an amazing man as well. We rang in the new year as newly weds. Each year we celebrate our anniversary as we close another chapter in the book of life.
