The Pain

The pain

You don't understand how much the pain hurts
To be beaten down and your knees slammed in the dirt
And to see no one cares beaten down because of dares
The pain, is more than anything
She's gone with another guy
And you're thrown into the line of fire over a small little fine
Trying to protect the little ones, be a leader for the rest of 'em
But the pain, grows stronger
It's a cold November day, just a couple days until your birthday
Until you hear that a little one is gone
Lost, not found. Broken and put down. Thrown to the curb like you were
The pain inside that this little boy feels is much greater than you'll ever feel
You don't care about your pain anymore
The pain hurts, it gets stronger but you push harder. To save the family
This little one has experienced far much more pain that your whole family and you wish to take it away
You wish and wish and help this little one out, Be strong you say and he nods but his head is down
You lift him up and tell him that he can do this and to lift his head high and show the rest of the world who he really is
But...the pain hurts
This process won't be fast, very cold and long but you'll get through it and I'm here to make this long journey the last
This little one hugs you by the leg and starts to cry while saying thank you
As the wind blows and you both stand tall, you understand it all
Ontop of mountain or in the sea, your pain will be conquered by you and me
Your pain doesn't matter anymore, she's gone and the wound will be sore
But this little one needs your help
He's experienced more pain than no one that age should see and please take it away
The pain
