Pain

Pain Is where my shore go to a place dry not moist I've dealt with so much my life losing a sister to be disfigured by someone's temper not just mental but physical many years my days and nights were spent hungry and miserable I've I was a painter probably could paint a more discreet emotional picture all I have is my poems to uplift me when I'm alone my words not only tell a story point out my suffering from years dealing with broken promises to not knowing my own worth I had to literally dig myself out my pity party of dirt to get strong and move forward can't succeed making moves backwards my beginning is now my future will be beautiful not cold I've learned to leave behind what's not meant to nurture my mind expand to greater horizons poetry is my calling to write good and bad to help another soul so cold and mad I can't predict a forecast my craft can rain maybe change however ones feeling in Pain
