Pain

I am simply an object from the past

That they wish will disappear

Then why do I exist?

Why do I live?

When I thought about this

I could find no answer

But as you live, you need a reason

Otherwise is the same as being dead

You are constantly in my mind

But I just can’t see us being bing

and becoming one

the sorrow and confusion weighs an unbearable ton

I’m in pain again

I often question why there has to be pain

I run and hide

but it just accumulates a tide

which collapses over me

and I can no longer flee

I guess people are right, no pain

means no gain

Yet I’m still left here waiting

to see in the end what I will be gaining
