The pain

The pain

It’s a grain in my heart that keeps growing

The tears just flow

Your death was a blow

To my heart

The sadness is a prison

There is no breaking out

The anger is a burning fire

That destroys everything in its way

The frustration is too great

Its hard to wait

To heal

To move on

Sometimes I can’t go on.

Dad

I hope you can hear me

I wish you knew the pain you left behind.
