Pain is...

Pain is like a scar

that hits deep and far.

Soon forgetting it was ever there,

with a glimps you remember with a scare.

Pain is like a tornado

that crashes through everything you know.

Totally wrecking it all

but you are too strong to fall.

Pain is like a marathon run.

With a sound of a gun

youre off and become tired.

Unaware of how much energy required.

Pain is like a temporary tattoo

it wont last forever on you.

It might leave a mark

but you cant tell, its not dark.

Pain is like a flood

everything gets dragged through the mud.

Having to start over again

it may take a year or even ten!
