Pain

When the pain hit hard I cried tears of blood
Feeling like my soul was crying with me
Anxiety ripped through me like a flood
For my pain was wide open for everyone to see

Many had felt the same pain or felt it stronger
Seeing your mother being taken from you
For it’s a suffering like no other
When it happen all I could see was blue

My heart had hurt like a knife sliced through it
I know that pain will never go away
I wish I can turn back time I admit
when the pain was never there like in May

All I can do now is smile through harsh days
Hiding it, the pain in my eyes and heart
