Pain

Pain

Something we all endure

Something we all hate

People don’t like pain

Neither on the inside nor out

Pain

All have different ways of coping

Some drink

Some curse

Some keep it in until it bursts

Others still try to forget

Pain

We pile it onto others

While we hope to never feel it again

We hate pain

But we make others suffer

Pain

It comes in many forms

It is found in love

We use it in anger

We watch it in destruction

Pain

A dangerous foe

And an equally dangerous ally

Some give their lives to pain

And lose everything

I am a high school student at a small school, I've been through a lot so far throughout my life, but there are three things that I normally write about: I write about the depression that I battle every day and often lose to, and I write about the two women that I've fallen in love with, both of which left, and I'm never going to see either one again. If you like my writings, please e-mail me at [email protected]. It helps to know when people enjoy or relate to the things that I write.
