Pain

Pain is what I hear Pain is what I see Pain is how I feel When I see a black man, lying dead on a street This Pain is all around As if it's a routine To see a cop shoot a man Who said "I can't breath." I wish it would stop I wish it would end All the pain has me thinking Am I going to die next? It hurts to see them wail It hurts to see them cry It hurts to see a family See their loved one die Will it ever stop? Will they ever quit? Once it happens to them, Then I guess that's it.
