Pain

Others can’t feel your pain, so to them

You’re being over dramatic

To them, you’re looking for attention

But they don’t understand

Think about what you’ve experienced,

All you have gone through

They know none of it

You believe that no one will accept you,

You believe they will only turn away,

So you keep your pain hidden

Deep down where no one will notice,

Where no one will see.

But one day the pain will begin to take over,

Pain will begin to be the best of you.

It will be all you think about and all you feel,

So let it out.

Find a person to talk to, to get personal with.

Tell them about your good days and tell them about your bad days.

Take the weight of hiding off your chest.

You will begin to feel free and you will begin to find support.

Let go of your pain and find your person.
