Pain

Pain Pain Pain

Is what she had experienced in such a horrendous way

She tells me she gets beaten so hard

She yells and cries and she wishes it would

                                                     all end and she die

She tries to keep it together to not let it show

Like a vase that has been shattered but not yet

                                                     broken

I want to stop them from beating her so, I want to comfort her

but these thoughts they must not know

I want to help her and ease her pain

I want her to be happy once more again

She's had enough and they need to stop

By the look in her eyes we share the same thought

She has never really known real love

No one had ever told her she was a gift

                                                    from above

But the glimmer of hope she still holdss for herself

Whispers in her ear to stay strong

She was so sweet, so happy, always getting along

Why oh why had she been treated so wrong?

No child, No child, No child

Should ever have to go through what she went through

No child, No child, No child

Should ever have to feel the neglect that she felt.
