Pain
You will never manage to comprehend
How much pain
Sits inside the deepest corners of a lonely damaged spirit
You will never feel the ache that sets deep within
Cramping up, threatening to explode
The slicing pain of loneliness that seeps into your body
Corrupting everything that it touches
Pushing happiness into the abyss
Leaving you with nothing
Apart from a ravenous feeling of want
With no determination to get what is wanted
The achy feeling of need
With no clue what is needed
You will never get it
So quit pretending
Quit acting like you recognize what I'm going through
You will never perceive it
Unless you have this beast within you
I pray that you never do
