Pain

To wake up is pain.

Divorce is not the only strain.

Depression, anxiety, it hits me like a train.

Bankruptcy, torture, is this all fun and games?

All I see and hear is her name.

Once my mom, my friend, I see now how this will end.

She send us on our way, as her new kids call her name.

I will not bend or break.

This wall I put up brings me shame.

I will spend the rest of my life tending to this pain.
