Pain

Pain consumes the depths of our souls

Trying to seek control.

In order to wake us up as whole.

Because that's its role.

Without pain you wouldn't be who you are.

You wouldn't go too far.

You try to cover the scars,

Yet they make you who you are.

How bizarre

And once its job is done,

When you have become stronger then how you had begun,

It feels like you've hit a home run.

And the battle of pain has been won.

Like a warrior you rise from the darkness

You transform into brightness

You still have a sense of coldness,

But in the end, all you feel is happiness.
