Pain

Tired. I'm worn out, I can't feel anymore, Time stood still. The pain is real, I thought I sensed him, He visits all the time, Bringing empty promises wrapped in gifts, Buying his way into my soul. He promised, Conversations endless, Voice sweeter than honey, I was his puppet; he played me. Dancing to his tune, We talked all night. Naively succumbing to his woos, My heart found love, "Stay with me" I couldn't bear it anymore, His love pierced through me, I couldn't comprehend, Love shouldn't be this agonizing. Please save me, This is a cry for help, My bones cringe at the sound of his voice, The tempo of my pulse increasing, My breath fading, As I watched Love walked out on me. Lyht Speaks. #Pain in love
