Pain

pain

feels like the air rushing out of your lungs

looks like someone trying to hold themselves together

tastes like bitter tears running down your cheeks into your gasping mouth

feels like blood pulsing behind a painful bruise

smells like a dark musty room where each breath is harder to take in than the last

sounds like the noise your heart makes when its ripping in two

feels like everything is falling into a dark abyss where light is not even fathomable

sounds like a blood curling scream that is desperately trying to be muffled

looks like a child in bed with tears silenting streaking down their face until they die on their pillow
