Pain

The pain of being a teen When all the world seems to be mean Crying myself to sleep Because others made me weep The cruelty and drama A time when I need my mama Because I know she will always be here When everything else is unclear The rumors being spread about me Can't anyone see The pain that they bring? When people say I did something Then I say I did nothing But they all think I'm bluffing So the rumors keep going And the pain keeps growing Not knowing what I did wrong But they continue to sing the same song
