The Pain Of Drowning

"It's hard enough to live

Without the hurt and pain

But I can't seem to win

Or stop the awful shame

But since I'm not seen at all

I watch my spirit fall

And try to find a way

To crack and break the clay

'Cause even if I fail

At least I tore the vail

And showed the world around me

That I was really drowning

And that they could have saved me."
