Pain To End All Pain
My heart yearns for a love unchanging.
Aches from a fear unfading.
I wake and fail before day ever begins.
Begging for an end to all the pain I feel.
Engulfed in a searing dryness from those meant to help me.
Salvation coming in the form of hard and cold and red.
Steady as a heartbeat.
To end all heartbeats.
Broken by the breath I breath.
Held together by lies and fake laughs.
Suffering from unending ignorance.
Needing the pain to end all pain.
