Pain Is Ever So Present

“Pain” is ever so present, but on the surface

You are bright and blue and have calmness in you.

The thing is the trouble underneath, you may

Not be able to see the pain and the struggle you feel.

When you travel deeper inside and you will

Shiver to see what is underneath.

Almost nothing goes down there but

The lucky few to the cold darkness inside you.

You feel the everlasting pain but you shine

And smile making everyone happy, but deep

Down the pain haunts you.

When the darkness is overwhelming

And someone sees the pain inside.

The wave’s crash down and the perfect

Storm comes alive. So much pain and darkness

Hidden from the world until it breaks,

And the beautiful exterior comes tumbling down.

Your heart pounding, your eyes shinning

With tears by the physical pain you feel.

You let everything go, the thing is when

The storm is over the pain does not end.

You go back to normal and become

Calm, sad part is the show of

Calmness outside is hiding the cold

Dark place engulfed by pain.
