The Pain of the Living

Inside is an ache, A wound on my soul. I cannot cry tears, 'because you haven't a heart' I am told. Yet inside I still ache, in that blood pumping gear; A slow spreading poison that fills me with fear. So remember your loved ones, and hold on to them tight. Tell them you love them... and kiss them goodnight.
