Pain of the Lost

I feel... T feel the pain of those who have lost their way. The junkie crying in the street, Hoping for forgiveness. The sinner praying for redemption. The victim begging for love. I hear their cries of anguish. The sobs of an unwed mother, Holdi1ng her crying child. All alone in the world. Why? Why do I feel their pain? Why won't anyone help them? The so called "Angels?" No one. Their screams echo, Through the air. Why doesn't anyone seem to care? So much pain for one world to take. What if it were to break? If it crumbled under the weight of our Pain and Destruction. Someone please take away their pain. Take away, The screams.... The crys.... The tears.... And the loneliness. I feel the pain of those who have lost their way. Soon I hope.... Someone will take it all away. ©2010 Mariah Pawlak
