Pain Is My Teacher

Pain Is My Teacher Hello pain, you’ve been my teacher. You’ve taught me not to rely on myself. You have instructed me in the art of discipline. I haven’t always felt this way about you. In hine sight…you and me have done this dance numerous of times. I’ve gotten good at wrestling with you. Even though you win every time. You know you don’t fight fair. I’m amazed how much you know about me. Thinking back there were times you use to scream aloud. Let me teach you. Let me make something old new. If you let me I can totally remake you. Trust me your gonna like the new you. In response I would scream as well. Your not my friend. You hurt to much. You expose’s the deepest recess of my soul. Didn’t I tell you no one fish’s here. Pain I’m exhausted. No more fighting with you. I’m putting my fighting gloves away. You win I surrender. I’ve notice every since I stop fighting with you life has been good. I’m breathing and walking just fine. The view is great. But I’m not fool by your silence. I know in the matter of time you will rise. So, when you come calling; I’ll ask pain what have you have in store for me. You’ll say let’s go on an adventure. Trust me your’s gonna like the new you.
