a Pain in Nature

For some moments we isolated Ourselves from the uproars; Submerged in eternity, bliss And bewilderment of greenary With majestic pour of waterfalls. We listened the rhythmic breeze That blew with flickering foliage And ubiquitous auroma of wild blooms. In transparent lakes we swam And glimpsed the wild fishes Frolicking throughout with coloured fins. In the romantic darkness of twilight We touched and felt the fireflies And meditated long to connect With the soulful noise of insects. But , to an utterless disbelief ! Amidst this solemn tranquillity There thrived a group of devils With spirit of rage and malice Devouring every instinct of humanity. Ah, so brutally they took away Our somatic existence forever Without realising and halting A while to hearken our innocent pleas. If some life exist beyond death We shall return for you again Wandering endless through this eden: For we bury deep inside our hearts The pain, agony and sorrows Of some disfulfilled proposals And many shattered promises We made to you time and again.
