Pain no more

Pain is there,

It is always around.

It creeps in slowly,

Making no sounds.

You never see it coming,

You feel it when it hits.

You feel like you've been placed,

In hell's hottest pit.

Physically or emotionally,

there's no doubt it comes.

Your heart pounds hard,

It beats like a drum.

Feeling like a shot to the head,

a knife to the soul,

Getting pain gone,

That is the goal.

Hands shake,

Tears pour,

You want pain gone,

Pain no more.
