Pain Pass to Pleasure

There is nothing there,

except all those regrets.

Things that I do not want

to see with my eyes.

All those years of constant fighting,

with everyone I knew.

Falling into a hole,

full of my mistakes.

One after another.

Tears shed down my face.

Red and hot.

Pillows on my bed,

stained in mascara.

No one liked me when,

I was little and fragile.

Sleeplessness nights gave me

the future to think about.

To take one step at a time,

not to rush too quickly.

Slow down to love.

The past is the past.

Remember the importance of now.
