Pain is Something Great

(poems go here) He lost everything he loved, everything he once knew. Became broken into a thousand pieces The pain, sorrow, and aches become too much to grip Praying things will turn around, "It'd be a blessing not to be drowning" Than one day, he did not feel sad nothing was felt Numb. He can't feel the pain anymore, but he can’t feel love or happiness. Being numb is being dead, looking like the person everyone once knew. This is all he knows now, He wants to laugh again, smile big and truly say he is blithe and cry because feeling the pain is better than feeling nothing at all.
