Pain To Stay Sane

Here we go once more, trying to do our best on common core                                                   And until we open that door, we won’t know what we would score

Must make it to class, in order to have a chance to pass

Teachers don’t want to hear sass, they just want you to pass

Very few have done well, because this test is literally hell

Some people just want to yell, while others want to tell

Government gives no good education, they just want to have their vacation

Money is a motivation, but there is no conversation

President Trump has no compassion, he only speaks to show off his fashion

What a passion, also throwing our school food away like an assassin

Think about a student’s shoes, they do not like your views

Quit dreaming about your cruise, and give us the right to choose

This test has not helped at all, instead it made everyone fall

We just want to yell at y’all, supporting the government’s hall

School staff should know, that this test is a total blow

This test has no flow, for us to know and show

It was just an obstacle, that was clearly impossible

The questions were probable, yet still unsolvable

The legacies left, were nothing that we kept

This type of testing criteria ends now, no one will ever give you a bow

Now that the test is over, we can all strive to start over

Unless the government gets sober, this nightmare will never be over

If we all vote the right way, then this will eventually go away

Everyone please continue with your days

Praying that this will eventually go away, someday
