Painful

I did not know

I did not foresee

I did not foresee.

Sudden responsibility

Sudden judgement

Sudden 'You didn't know?'

Apparent greed

Apparent wants that turned into needs

Apparent addications no longer just for fun.

Now we are here

Now there is no turning back

Some of us tried and the result was testing death.

This is what we wanted

all those years of longing and yearning for independence

No one told us it would be this painful.
