Painful Affair

My brain is on fire,
My nerves feel weak,
The future is really bleak.
I am trying to keep cool,
Losing battle to changing rule,
Deep down I'm the fool.
How dishonest can people be,
Once married, no I, just WE,
So blinded, unable to see.
Weight of the world on my back,
Heartless woman, emotions lack,
Always late, to work, and back.
No kiss, no sex, never fails,
All your fault she constantly wails,
Cheating is to crucify, words for nails.
Smell of her hair, touch of her skin,
Your affair, deepest of sin,
Another mans arms, now in.
Come home, smile on your face,
Heart, not in the right place,
Pull you close, an empty embrace.
Gone for good, no return,
That addictive smile I still yearn,
This cruel lesson was mine to learn.
