Painful Perseverance

When the waves crash,
They draw back.
When the night is dark,
The stars shine.
When the storm comes,
The grass grows.

The pain doesn't last forever,
it resides.
When all seems hopeless,
there is a light.
When things get hardest,
there is growth.
