The painful truth


Reality betrays the very act of living, mocking it's dreaming eye and outstretched wing as it takes flight.

Lashing out, breaking both bone and tender heart I spiral to the ground a damaged image of self.

As I lay there broken and bleeding staring at the sky with unblinking eyes I realize time holds no bounds,  just as love can not be controlled by either will of heart or hand of man.
