Painful Yet Beautiful

Like a rose, I do have my thorns,

But one day I will be one who transforms.

I will go out into the world to find myself,

But I know I will always need God’s help.

The blessings I have, I am thankful for,

Even the ones that are now closed doors.

Life can and will always be hard,

But you should always remember to stand your guard.

Every struggle I come in contact with, I will overcome,

Until the day God calls me home and says “You’re done.”
