Painfully Enticing

He ripped out her heart

And left her lying on the sidewalk

A single tear rolled out her eye

and slowly swam down cheek

She didn't know why

She didn't feel her emotions

being torn apart

How could he have broken

Something that was already broken

Her face scarred with a confused

expression

How could he have broken what

had been broken her whole life

Until she became numb to the abuse

And the pain afflicted bacame enticing

She expected it...accepted it

It was all she ever knew.
