Paint On

The eyes glare at me

I stare back

All hope receeding

Just stuck there.

Not one to give up

I go on

Paintbrush touches lips

I push it.

Revealing the truth

Its true light

The portrait smiles

My one smile.

Since nothing seems right

Life at home

Finances are wrecked

My head shakes.

Only this saves me

The paintbrush

The sour turpenoid

My heaven.

To express myself

To connect

To make others smiile

My dream job.
